In Science, students are learning to identify living things and places they live. We went outside the classroom and explored the bushland near our classroom looking at ants and their behaviour. Students then came back into the classroom and had a go at drawing an ant and then they wrote about what they know and observed about them.

In Numeracy this Semester we have been looking at place value, where numbers come before and after on a number line and skip counting by 2s, 3s, 5s and 10s. Students enjoy having a go independently on mini white boards before someone in the classroom shares the answer.
