Congratulations

Congratulations to Kristy West, who has won the principal position at Woodroffe Primary. Kristy was Assistant Principal since Term 4 2020. Whilst at Zuccoli, Kristy worked with the Preschool, Transition and Year 1/2 classes and Special Education. Her legacy will be the whole school Literacy and whole school Instructional Model. I wish her all the very best in her new job. We farewelled Kristy at the Wednesday assembly this week.

Congratulations to four staff who attended their Graduation Ceremony last week. What an amazing recognition of your years of study.

Farewells

Due to staffing shortages, Forrest Parade’s Satellite Class, last day at Zuccoli, was Thursday 11 May. The principal of Forrest Parade is hopeful that she can recruit for a teacher to recommence this class for the start of Term 3 2023.

Courtney’s last day was Thursday 18 May. Courtney had worked as in class support and in the Gold Unit. I wish her all the best with her new job with AutismNT.

Toys and Pokémon Cards

Toys and Pokémon Cards are to be kept home. Bringing these items to school can result in disagreements between students, cards can be traded unfairly and toys can be broken.

Cross Country

What a wonderful event that was held Thursday 18 May. Early Childhood ran laps of the oval and the Upper School ran around the block. Mother Teresa students also participated at the same time! To all the students who participated, you earned points for your sports house. Results for the day were

1^st Boomerang 73 points

2^nd Laser 69 points

= 3^rd Seafury and Hawker

Reports

Teachers are busy writing progress reports for Semester 1. Reports will go home Wednesday 21 June.

Sports Carnival

Volunteers are needed to help run the BBQ and sell sausage sandwiches and drinks. If you can help, even for just 1 hour please contact the Front Office.
