TWO WEEKS IN ADVANCE

Families are required to pay fees two weeks in advance prior to commencement of care. This is to avoid falling behind on fees and disruption to your service. If fees are not kept in advance, parents may be asked to find alternative care arrangements until the balance is paid.

How to reduce your costs – Child Care Subsidy

CCS is a payment based on your family’s combined incomes. Families on lower incomes could receive significant reductions in their fees. CCS hours are allocated per fortnight based on your family’s hours of approved activity. These hours are not spread evenly over the fortnight, so parents need to be aware of their hour usage – especially during vacation care.

Register for CCS by calling Centrelink on 13 61 50 OR go online to register via the Department of Human Services website http://www.humanservices.gov.au/.

If you already have a Centrelink Customer Reference Number, it’s easy to register. If not, you may need to allow a little time, but it will make a significant difference to the cost of your care.

PUBLIC HOLIDAYS

Public Holiday fee's are charged at our standard OSHC rate. Under the directions of the School Council and keeping in line with other OSHC service providers, it is standard practise for our permanent children attending OSHC to be charged for public holidays. We have followed this practise since opening.

LATE FEES & ABSENCES

Our centre closes at 5.30pm. We understand that sometimes you may be running late due to an unforeseen circumstance. Please give us a courtesy call so we can pass this message onto your child. This also allows the Director time to notify staff they may be required to stay back.

Pick up after this time will incur a charge of $20 and $1 every minute after 5.30pm. All late pick-ups will be documented, and late fees will be charged on the invoices.

If a parent/guardian is late more than three times in a given fortnight the care will be suspended for a month.

We require 24hours notice of your child not attending care for that days fee to be waived. If your child is sent home sick from school on the afternoon your child is booked into OSHC the standard fee will still be charged. This is due to our centre rostering staff based on a student/staff ratio.
